Good websites to order from anyone?

Just wondering about good sites, and bad for that matter, that others have dealt with.

I have ordered from http://www.classicarms.us/ and while it took a couple weeks to process my order, and bill me for that matter, I found the staff helpful and what I ordered arrived well packed as described at my local ffl dealer. The web site was slightly out of date though as one item I wanted was out of stock even though the web site listed it in stock. As such while I recommend them I advise a phone order rather than via the web.

I have also used http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ for ammo and accessories with no complaint and suggest everybody sign up for the free catalog... it's good bathroom reading and if you highlight what you want your spouse has an easy x-mas list. I got a grappling hook for my birthday

http://www.midwayusa.com/ is good for ammo

my father has ordered from http://rguns.com/ with good results

So what other sites would you guys recommend for a fairly new noob?

I just ordered from Buds
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php
They ship within 7 days and were fairly inexpensive. Great customer service. The best thing is that they had a nice selection in inventory.

For New Guns.... I've found several very good buys from CDNN Sports, Inc . Website

The only "issue" I've had is that they're a wholesaler that some of my local FFLs use and I've gotten some grief from one of them. :dunno:

This I don't understand (I get it on a personal level, I just find it odd at a societal level). The Dillon catalog is nothing more than an attractive women, fully clothed, pictured with a gun. You see far more skin at the mall or at a beach. Furthermore, Dillon seems to take a more classy approach than most other forms of advertising, particularly when compared to TV, music, and movies.

Check out their latest ad for their .50 BMG reloading kit. WOO-HOO! :first: It's definitely a mini-skirt, but as you say, she is fully clothed, and the ad is still classy while showing extraordinary beauty.

Of course, you are fortunate enough to already have a "Dillon girl" as your wife.

Now, for Web sites:

- MidwayUSA for certain reloading components and definitely casting gear.
- CheaperThanDirt for inexpensive .223 or 7.62x39 ammo.
- Powder Valley Inc. for primer and powders, especially right now.
- Widener's for primers when Powder Valley doesn't have free shipping/HAZMAT.

Everything else, I just buy at a show.

J&G Sales (especially for C&R guns) -- I've bought several there, all good experiences. Another that I haven't tried yet, but probably will, is Centerfire Systems.
