Rem. 40X bore cleaner

Anyone used this before? I've been using Hoppe's #9 or Black Off (black powder/corrosive ammo cleaner) for bore cleaning for years.
Yesterday I bought a bottle of Remington 40X bore cleaner. First gripe is the dang cap leaks more liquid than passes through the nipple when you're trying to get it on the patch. It's not leaking at the cap but where the swivel nipple should seal against the cap. The liquid comes out of the bottle about "muddy creek water brown".
My M1A barrel didn't really look very dirty but every so often I get'em down and clean'em, oil'em up and put them back in the case till next time. Those patches came out of the barrel down right nasty. If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed it. No green/blue like it had a jacket residue build up, just real dark/black/dirty looking. I ran three patches with solvent (patches wrapped around a bore brush per the instructions) through the barrel and the last one looked barely dirty. A couple/three dry patches and then an oily patch before putting it away.
