I am curious as to how many people with their CHL carry on a regular basis. This has been a topic of discussion with friends lately. All of them have been shooting handguns longer than me, and it is surprising that some do not believe carrying a firearm is useful, or that a knife is all the protection they need.

I carry nearly everywhere I go that it is legal. However, since work doesn't allow it, that is less than I prefer.

Show me in the always carry concealed category. But unlike the poll selection, I do not open carry any more. It's just too risky, as we've all seen with our friend and fellow gun rights activist Skidmark.

My handgun does me no good if it's home in the safe.

Always except when (legally) prohibited.

I could tell a few stories but I probably shouldn't.

Hmm...don't polls like this kinda defeat the purpose of concealed carry, i. e. you don't want people to know you're doing it?

If you just answer the poll, no one but allingeneral will know how you voted, and only if he does a SQL query.

I never carry anything. Don't even know what a firearm is. I just be a dumb hick that live's out in the country.

I can't carry during the week before I get home from work. DoD doesn't appreciate my bringing in firearms onto the compound. And no guns in church so I just carry when I can.

Would seem kinda silly to have a CHL and not carry....kinda like drinking decaf coffee or having a drivers license just in case you needed to go for a drive someday.
Wouldn't do a whole lot of good if one needed a defensive tool and the CHL was safely nestled next to the gun in the safe at home!

If I'm not working I don't go out the door without my gun. We are not allowed to have firearms in our company trucks but like my boss told me... It's better to not have a job and be alive than to be dead and not need one

Never seen Henry without his XD...

I generally carry concealed but am less concerned about it showing once I get out of NOVA.
