Scroll down to Republic of China (Taiwan)
I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I seriously doubt you're going to be allowed to take firearms into Taiwan.

Or if you can get them into Taiwan, good luck getting them back into the US. The "import" rules are getting tighter all the time. If you do get them out of the country, make your you have documentation showing they were in the US legally before that.Jim wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_law

Legal private ownership of firearms and ammunition is severely restricted in the Republic of China.
About 1/2 way down the page is a short reference for Taiwan and unfortunately it isn't good news..

Good luck on that one or taking your own...I'd leave them here. Simply not worth the hassle even if you could take them.
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

Re: Shooting in Taiwan
Well, maybe not. No one has asked the question...are you military or government civilian and under control of a "base" commander...if so, then that is US soil and personal weapons are covered by order of the commander...just a thought...if thats the case check with your sponsor.zephyp wrote:Only if they are military grade and you're an obama administration salesman...drifty wrote:My wife and I will be moving to Taepei in August...Does anyone know where I can find info on
