M1 Carbine 30 cal ammo ... where??

Post by copfop »

Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy M1 Carbine .30 cal ammo? 25 mile radius around Stafford, Va. They don't sell it at Dicks or Gander Mountain in Fredericksburg. May have to wait until a gun show comes to town ........I missed the Dulles Expo show recently.

Thanks

Is 30-06 really getting that hard to find?. You can always shop it online.

.30 M1 Carbine is not .30-06, it fires a 110-115 grain round nose bullet about 2000 feet per second. It looks more like a pistol round than a rifle round.
You just have to ask yourself, is he telling you the truth based on knowledge and experience or spreading internet myths?

Right you are CheaperThanDirt has plenty http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ItemList ... ?catid=536
I have't see it locally. The M1 Carbine supply has dried up. I went to check out CMPs website the other day and they are out of stock and don't expect to receive more. If you have one keep it. The value can only go up.
