Update

The elderly lady that I've been helping is finally coming around. I had a dickens of a time bringing her to understand sight alignment. She finally got it yesterday. From a sitting position at 3 yards, she put 6 in the kill zone. Yeah, I know. But, you gotta realize, this lady couldn't hit a 24 X 36 silhouette target from 3 yds. when she first started.

I really feel sorry for her. I know in my heart that, if it ever came down to it, she wouldn't stand a chance. But, at least, her confidence is growing. You should have seen her smile when she hit the 9 ring yesterday. It actually made me feel good to see her beaming.

I tested her for flinch. Steady as a rock. I was really surprised. How she holds on to that little thing is beyond me. I'm not kiddin' ya', fellas, she has to cock her little snub nose with both thumbs.

But, she keeps at it and asks questions. She really is trying. I have to give her that.

And, she doesn't blink at what I ask for my time and her checks don't bounce. As long as I can keep her from wandering into personal opinion territory, I'll help her all she wants.

Glad she's progressing. Maybe after a few more lessons she'll be a lot more confident and be able to pull the hammer back with one thumb, and get more accurate.

If she lives out her days in confidence instead of fear, then you've made the difference.
