New Sig P290 - CCW

Last month there was a thread about tiny Kel-Tecs and their reliability. My argument was that no "mainstream" manufacturer was producing anything like the PF-9 (i.e. a single stack pocket 9MM pistol that was less than an inch wide and less than 6 inches long)

It looks as though Sig Sauer might be coming around to the idea. I like my PF-9 plenty, but this would be a heck of an upgrade!

Ah, I have a feeling they'll sell like hotcakes when they come out! I've been debating on a Kahr because that's about the only small single stack 9mm out that I like... (I know most folks may not consider Kahr a mainstream manufacturer, but their MK9 is .9" wide [slide], and 5.3" long.) Looks like I'll be waiting to see how this Sig does.... Thanks for the heads up!

That looks interesting, but I don't put much faith in SIGs plastic line. Their Al and steel guns are great, but the SIG Pros have failed a lot of agency tests and were rejected.
