Shame on Oklahoma

Some of you might be aware that Oklahoma had the unmitigated gall and audacity to put an initiative on the ballot outlawing use of Sharia law in Oklahoma courts. Now, I dont know about you but IMHO this is extremely racist not to mention just plain mean. What's even worse is approximately 70% (yes 7-0 %) of the voters supported this initiative. Heinous to say the least and most certainly deplorable on the part of the state and voters. Shame on you Oklahoma and thanks to the Muslim hero (Allar Ahmad) who has already filed a law suit claiming the law is unconstitutional. We can only hope that his case is successful.

Spence, honestly. When it gets so bad we have to put an initiative on the ballot banning use of Sharia law here then it means quite a lot. Unfortunately it has already worked itself enough into our society to be of major concern to folks of our ilk...and yes...I AM AN INFIDEL....damn proud of too.

Not to defend them for a moment but its our government that is the bigger transgressor here -- by allowing it to happen...also the so called citizens that support such ideas...

OK wants to keep it that way. There have been a couple of judges who considered it in a case. One was widely publicized. I have no issue with OK putting this up for a vote but a big problem for a Muslim to challenge it as unconstitutional...

Ok, so Muneer Awad (executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations for Oklahoma) filed suit against the OK Constitutional amendment not allowing Sharia law to be considered in OK courts.

Btw, I posted his name wrong above. I heard it on the radio and misunderstood. Silly me. I guess we need to get used to the Muslim way because...

A judge ruled in favor of the law suit and ordered a temporary restraining order against OK...

I will be appealed but who knows how it will be ruled...GET READY...and remember that over 70% of Oklahomans voted for the amendment...
