Let's hear about your experience at the polls today. See anything suspicious, did your polling place have any technical difficulties, any Elvis sittings?.

My polling place was having problems with the magnetic voter cards, so all I can say now is...

 Saw two zombies, but I roadie ran around them and got inside the white chalk ring that protects the poll. 1 person in front of me, nobody behind me. The poll worker was knitting, she said she thought is was going to be a dishrag, but the way today was going, she could probably finish a sweater...

did my duty and gone! :first:

I guess I showed up early enough that the Black Panthers hadn't arrived yet. All my ninja skills gone to waste...

Not many people there at a few minutes past 6AM. They seemed to be getting organized still, but no real issues. I used and prefer the paper ballots over those magnetic cards...at least there is some physical trail.

Voted and there were about 20 folks there at 0700 and all were talking about getting rid of Connolly so I was in amongst friends. Not real happy with Fiemmian but at least he is 2A friendly even though he is a RINO.

Just got back... looks like a huge turnout at our precinct. The Republican volunteer handing out sample ballots said about 3/4 of the people were requesting the Republican sample ballot.

Well... I showed up, and the Tea Party guys there told me non-whites I was not allowed to vote. I was like, whatever, and had to push my way past them.

Then the Obama supporters were like, wait, hold on, you have a NRA sticker on your car, 2A supporters are not allowed to vote. I was like, yeah, whatever, and had to shove my way through them.

Then another group of Tea Party members said, wait, you know that guy with the rainbow sticker on your car? People that know "homos" can't vote, and I was like yeah, whatever, and shouldered my way through them.

Then the ACORN guys started hassling my friend about her yellow ribbon sticker and said warmonger baby killer supporters could not vote, and I was like yeah, whatever, and had to high step through them.

Need to get through a few more packs. Send supplies.

I went to the elementary school to vote and stood behind an older couple in line. As I stood in line, I got my voter reg card and my driver's license out. I walked up to the Black Panther who was checking people in and held out my voter card and license, and she asked me "Do you have anything with your address on it?". I was dumbfounded and couldn't manage to say anything except "Uhhh...ermmmm....". She said "Oh." and reached for my license, which was still in my wallet. She grabbed my wallet and tried to take it from me...as she gawked at it for for several seconds, she continued to put pressure on removing it from my hand, so I finally let it go. I don't know why she felt the need to have physical control of my wallet...she must be a democrat.

I passed up the paper ballots to wait for the electronic ballot. The lady that was voting electronically at the time (only one electronic ballot in the station) started asking a bunch of questions about the Constitutional amendments. I grew weary of waiting for her to shake the cobwebs from her brain (i.e., Democrat) and went back to get a paper ballot.

Robert "Rob" Wittman (R) - Check.
Amendment 1: Yes
Amendment 2: Yes
Amendment 3: No

Dang Rick, I almost choked on my pork chop reading that. LOL

I voted at 0610 knowing the only ones up at that time are working folks, my kind of people. No incidents to report.

I had no problems at all in Chesterfield. There were about 10 people in the room and 7 of them were workers. There was only one hawker at a table outside but she was so surprised that I spoke to her that she didn't try to press any literature into my hand.

I didn't have to wait at all to get my paper ballot nor did I have to wait for a voting booth. I DID however have to wait about 15 seconds before I could put the ballot into the vote counting machine. I was voter #436 at my precinct according to the display on the machine.

So, I'm done voting for this election. I wish they all went this smoothly.

Andy,
I'm diggin' the grips on your GP. I hadn't realized that you could get CT's that retain the wood inserts from the older style grips.
