Here is quick little on-line test. I did not do as well as I thought I would. Also, I think a couple of the questions are questionable.

I missed questions 5 and 11 for an 84. I still think these two questions may have wrong or debatable answers.

I got question 5 and 11 wrong, too!
For Question 5, I thought "Yes, but... in that caliber?! Something's wrong."
I think Question 11's answer is wrong..."not in my experience"
Though I got it right, I found Question 9 funny.

I think we should start a debate on some of the answers...particularly the ones the OP and I missed!

Umm...not exactly 100% here.

No, some of them are flat out wrong. Such as the DE was never made in .45. It was was in .44Mag. Also, 500S&W produces more recoil than .44Mag (500gr@1500fps vs. 240gr@1500fps). However, it can depend on what you are asking when you say recoil. Are we talking recoil impulse, recoil energy, recoil momentum...does the recoil reduction of the muzzle break count? Also, some of the questions are irrelevant. I can't buy a M4A1, nor can I buy a G36...at least not real ones because of the 86' ban and 922r (IIRC). The MSRP, military or LE pricing is irrelevant for two reasons. LE and military buy weapon systems, not basic rifles. I.e. The G36 is almost never available to them without a lot of the do das. Companies play with base prices to accessory prices all the time to get
government contracts. Second, those aren't market prices. Since they can't be bought, those prices represent large, government bids with other tangibles and intangibles in the contract. E.g. quantity discounts or factory support services or spare parts, etc.
The problem with all of these type of trivia quizzes is that they are made by someone who Googled a few answers, but barely has any grasp of the subject themselves. The questions always end up poorly phrased or with obvious typos because they can't proof read something they don't understand.
/rant - I hate trivia if you haven't noticed.
Edit: In keeping with the general quality and prose of the questions, an UZI is designed to have a higher cyclic rate than an AK, but any given test the AK could win if...
1. The UZI may be broke.
2. The UZI may be unloaded.
3. The UZI may not have anyone pulling the trigger.
4. The UZI may jam.
5. The UZI shooter may have to run over a obstacle course and swim two rivers to get a reload, while the AK shooter has loaded mags readily available.

A good example of the pricing is CPU prices. AFAIK, the only published prices from the manufacturer is for lots of 1,000 CPUs. You can't buy less than that unless you buy it from a retailer who obviously charges you more. The base price means nothing. Commodity trading is a lot like that too. Spot prices for precious metals are for bulk (not coins or other reasonable units) and with minimum orders so large that the price is almost irrelevant. IIRC, the minimum future contract available for silver is 5,000 oz. To further prove the point on pricing, the small lot precious metal coin market charges good premiums, which vary widely, over the spot price.

@Garrett - indeed, no DE in .45. There is a Baby Eagle in .45 though. I saw a couple of Q/A there wrong...I also noticed you could make your own quiz up too...

Ya, but other than name and manufacturer, they have nothing in common.

Actually they are both semi auto pistols firing a projectile from a brass case propelled by powder ignited by a primer after being hit by a hammer as the result of a trigger being pulled. I'd say they have quite a bit in common, but I see your point...

Wow I didn't know guns had so much in common with other guns!

I missed four or five (took it a while ago). Some of them are, as mentioned, wrong. A M4A1 costing more than a G36? Please. This is HK we're talking about. I don't know their list but it's got to be more than a Colt (which is between $800-1000, IIRC).

I was under the impression the ROF of a stock full size Uzi and stock AKM are about 600rpm. Certainly when I've shot them in that format they seemed about like that. At that point differences come down to ammo quality, spring quality, etc.

I've never shot either, but Wikipedia says 600ish, but I did find this:
Those who have UZIs (and this includes me) say that the 500 rmp cyclic rate is a dream and does not require manipulation of the selector switch to get single shots. Yep, that is indeed true - of the standard UZI. The new Mini-UZI is a first-class "rip snorter" in that its cyclic rate is in excess of 1,000 rpm - 1,200 rpm being the case with mine.
