The Poll...
"Are gun stores responsible for crime?"
http://tinyurl.com/2bzmdtq

Should gun stores be held responsible for crimes committed with weapons that they have sold?

Currently running 46% yes to 53% no with 3,726 votes.

This is just stupidity....let's get in there and push those "NO" numbers up!

(read the related articleif you wish, it about made me sick to my stomach).

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which investigates gun trafficking and regulates the firearms industry, is hamstrung by the law, politics and bureaucracy.
BATFE hamstrung by the law! :hysterical:

You mean the same BATFE that was caught teaching their agents to lie under oath?
The agency still has the same number of agents it had three decades ago.
Yes, and in other news the BATFE is still to large and corrupt.

If gun stores cause crime, then car dealers are the cause of auto accidents.

Well, let's see, now. Does that mean, if someone t-bones me in a auto accident, I can sue the dealership that sold the car? How 'bout, if I slip and fall down the steps, can I sue the store that I bought my shoes from?
We need a smilie shaking his head in disbelief.

Hold the car company responsible for drive by shootings - you need a car and a gun to do a driveby (unless we're talking drive-by media, in which case you need a car and a frontal lobotomy)

It's only 55% currently. That's a shameful statistic--45% of the other voters actually believe that gun stores cause crime....

Says a lot about the political climate there don;t it? The blame of innocent others for problems is an age old trick of certain groups that will always blame someone or something else as long as there may be a buck to be made,,If not , they'll pay it no attention and scream some other kind of garbage just to bitch due to the fact that they are continually offended ans without accusation they would cease to exsist.... If only

This all reminds me of suing McDonalds because the coffee was hot. It worked, and what do we have now? Warnings on the paper/styrofoam cups stating the obvious "contents may be hot"!

WOW!!! What a concept...HOT COFFEE!!! Who'da thunk?!?!

Please...dont get me started on the big fat water buffalo looking woman who put the coffee cup between her gargantuan thighs and squeezed it all over herself as she reached out to get the big bag of MacMuffins...what a moron and even more of a moronic jury to award her a judgement...

My favorite so far is the CD I found in an airline mag (the free mags they stick in the back of the seats). It said the CD could not be used as a flotation device in the event of a water landing.

Something tells me that these gun sales were not all legal. I wonder how this fits into the Bloomberg gun traffic scenarios.
