New to the forum

Hi all,
New to the forum, and looking forward to learning from those with the passion for firearms as I do. A little about myself: Before I joined the USAF as a combat communicator (1990-1999), I've been interested in firearms as a young adult, and especially firearms training and tactics. I knew early on that the only way to be "safe" was to learn how to use firearms and the rules associated with being a gun owner. I did well in the USAF and was also part of the marksmanship team for 1 year. I still shoot recreationally, and try to maintain my proficiency as often as I can by going to the local gun ranges. I own mostly long guns / rifles, but I love shooting my handgun. Thanks for allowing me to be a member of this forum, and I hope I can contribute where necessary.
