I'm in need of a BCG and bolt head for a 6.8 SPC AR. VA Arms does not carry BCGs, and neither does Sharpshooters. Does anyone in VA sell them, or am I going to have to go out of state (Internet) for this? I'd rather keep things in-state. Thanks.

Sharpshooters in Springfield has AR parts, but I don't think they have any 6.8 parts. I think you are going to have a hard time finding a shop that carries 6.8 AR parts.

I ended up talking to Harrison at AR15Performance and he express shipped the complete BCG with 6.8 bolt to me. I should be getting it today. I'll be heading up the VA Arms to have them resurrect my SPR and I should be good to go this weekend. BTW, Sharpshooters is now carrying complete BCGs and bolts but does not carry 6.8 bolts. That was news to me Friday.

I've found that most local shops only sell 5.56 bolts, so I had to go online. I like keeping my local gun shops in business, but if I'm looking for something off the beaten path, I have to order it. I doubt any store will carry bolts for anything x39 based, or any of the heavy hitters. I know VA Arms carries Barret 6.8 SPC magazines ($50!) but they're the only ones in the area that do.

Thanks everyone!
