I am a card carrying Oath Keeper and we are not a Militia. Regardless of what we are these people should not loose their child for visiting a website.

This just sounds incredible. Something's got to be askew with this. This is just unbelievable.

A couple of quotes from the first link. Neither of these quotes appear to be attributed to Rhodes, founder of OathKeepers, but rather can be attributed to the author of the article.

Once it is confirmed through documentation that the father’s association with Oath Keepers was listed as a reason, even if among several reasons listed, for taking the child, we will actively pursue aggressive legal remedy and redress.

even more fundamental point is that regardless of the other allegations, it is utterly unconstitutional for government agencies to list Mr. Irish’s association with Oath Keepers in an affidavit in support of a child abuse order to remove his daughter from his custody.

Seems to me that there's a lot more to it than just an association with Oath Keepers. I do agree that his association with Oath Keepers is not something that should be listed in an affidavit, since it's certainly not illegal to be an OK member. However, there are other things within that affidavit that we don't know about - which could be very serious.

That's what I'm thinking.

Anytime infowars is involved there is always alot more going on... Their next article will be a full length feature where this guy and his family are interred in a FEMA camp...

Guilt by association to a organization whose only threat is to do nothing when asked to do something unlawful. I do not have an unbiased take on this.

1) If they have so much dirt on these people why list Oath Keepers as the reason?
2) There is no reason to remove a child from it's mother when both are still under hospital care.
3) This is a test to see just how numb the Sheeple of this country really are.

Its nonsense like this that gets responsible gun owners labeled as dumb red-neck hillbillies. What utter rubbish. Notice that not one mature, professional news organization is covering this tale; hell, you can’t even get a search hit on FOX news regarding this. If this story had one iota of truth every legitimate news organization on the planet would be covering it, if a child was taken by social services it was for a damn good reason.

On a side note: Wally World is running a sale on tin-foil and I saw an ad for a micro-chip removal kit in the back of the National Enquirer while I was standing in line at the Piggly Wiggly.

You mean the same news sources that bring you info on the BP gulf spill?

I remember seeing people in Alaska wiping off rocks and cleaning birds for weeks when Exon screwed up. The Valdez spill only ranks 34th or 35th on the list of the world's worst oil spills.

Some rank the BP spill as the worlds worst. Fox News was not among them.

I don't know what to say, much like the supposed legal challenge to Obunghole's citizenship.

It may have validity, and then it is likely to be suppressed, and then I would not hear more about it. If it is bunk, I would also expect to not hear more about it.

Been watching “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” too many times eh….

My slant on this topic is Guilt by association. Be aware that every day our rights and privacy disappear more. As more of this unfolds I will return with the scoop. This is what I, as an Oath Keeper, am doing about the situation. I am getting the word out to any who will give it the time of day.

Just for those that think such a thing could happen here in America. The State returns baby and says nothing.

It seems like Stewart is planning to hold the state accountable. I hope he is able to do so.
