Wow, I was hoping for bigger. The chantilly show is huge, but I was thinking there had to be bigger and better elsewhere.. I guess no need to plan a trip this upcoming year for a different show.

How about that one in Hillsville last month? I understand 300,000 people went through there that weekend.

Thats pretty sad. I've been to crummy, casual gun shows in Minnesota that were much bigger. Surely in the land of the old fashioned gentleman there should be superior gun shows.

I went to one of those back in the 90's. It was more than you could see in a day. Got a link to the show by any chance Utah?

I am sure if you use "Da Google" you might be able to find some others you might like to hit. I have heard that Harrisburg, PA throws a pretty good one. Charlotte and Winston-Salem might offer you hope in NC and I would live to see what a "Hotlanta" gun show with 2000 tables looks like, not to mention it's only an hour from Fort Benning and all the US Cav, Ranger Joes ... stores.

Eastern gun shows are kinda sad. You really need to go west of the Mississippi to get the big ones (Wanenmacher, Crossroads of the West /SAR).

I don't care so much if it's big or small. I only care that they have a good selection. Consider what California gun owners must have to deal with, so I'd say we're doing OK.

Size tends to influence selection, but it's really a pretty random thing. It would actually be kind of interesting to see a bunch of probability and statistics guys take a look at gun shows.

Hmmmmm. I smell federal grant money...

Thanks for the suggestions, Harrisburg gun show is Dec 11-12 and I think I will check it out. 1200 tables and being only 2.5ish hours away makes it very doable for a day trip.

Thanks
