Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Hey there everybody I've been kinda lurking this site for about a month now and decided it's finally time to register. I hope I can be a good contribution to this board. A little about me: I'm currently 18 years old, have been shooting since the age of 5, first gun I ever shot was my grandpappy's Remginton 12 gauge(that was a fun day). I currently own a 2 Remington shotguns(12 and 20), a Ruger 10/22, and an old bolt action 22, can't recall the manufacturer right now. Hope to have the chance to meet up with some people in the NoVa/Manassas area and get some range time in. I live just outside of Manassas.

Welcome goodoleboy. You sound about like me - only I'm 50. My first shot came from a long tom 12 gauge with a 38 inch barrel. Really a squirrel rifle more than anything else. I was 12 at the time and it seemed as big as I was. The start of a wonderful relationship. Since then if you can carry it with one or two people I've either shot it or drooled over it.
