Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m a long time firearms enthusiast, retired sailor and DOD contractor. What I especially like about this forum is the mostly civil discourse that occurs between members when they disagree on something, be it politics or caliber. Too many forums devolve into personal attacks and flaming when disagreements arise, it’s nice to read mature thoughtful post on one of my favorite subjects, Firearms. Ya’ll take care.

First of all, welcome to the boards....


Second of all, as for that statement above, all I can say is, when you see a certain forum member chime in, grab a chair and some popcorn because it is going to be great. I won't mention his name, but you will quickly learn who he is.

I think we try, but it doesn't always work. The idea that you can passionately disagree with someone, but then go out and have a beer or take a range trip is a lost ideal in modern politics.
