Today, I attended an open house and toured the new Sport Shooting Center at the Smith Mountain Lake 4-H Education Center. What a beautiful facility. It is a 10 lane, indoor-outdoor range with class rooms, dry fire room, armory, range officer's control room.
Joined a new group called Smith Mountain Lake Pistol Shooting Association. This group will have use of the facility 3 days/week.
Did not get a chance to shoot today, but hopefully will in the next week.
You can shoot pistols up to .45 cal and rifles up to .22 cal. Range is 75'.

There was a 4-H state shooting competition last weekend with 250 kids that my son competed in.
There is a 4-H state shotgun competition at Brushy mtn. south of Lynchburg this coming weekend that we'll be at.
