Never been much of an XD fan, just because of how much it reminded me of glocks, but I ended up picking up this one for 330 bucks at a gun shop about an hour after it was brand new. I watched the guy buy it, shoot about half a box of ammo, and then sell it back to the store because he didn't like it. All in all I think I got a pretty good deal on a nearly brand new gun.
I'll put up a picture of the whole gun safe probably tomorrow...

That's why you rent before you buy! But good thing the guy didn't know better! Beautiful XD.

Good Deal. How does it shoot? I had thought about getting and XD-45 but didn't like the grip.

That was a deal. About $100.00 cheaper than my XD45 new.
What I like about the XD's is they are not as ugly as a glock.

That is a debatable point. I think XDs kinda look like a Glock and Hipoint love child...particularly with the slide bulge. SIGs at least stylize it a bit more. Almost like "training rails" for your slide.
Great functional guns though.

Shush, you. XD and XDM pistols are aesthetically pleasing, in an A-10 sorta way. I will admit my XDM 3.8 looks kinda out of kilter, though.
