The Top Ten Reasons Men Prefer Rifles Over Women
#10. You can trade an old 44 for a new 22.
#9. You can keep one Rifle at home and have another for when you're on the road.
#8. If you admire a friend's Rifle and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times.
#7. Your primary Rifle doesn't mind if you keep another Rifle for a backup.
#6. Your Rifle will stay with you even if you run out of ammo.
#5. A Rifle doesn't take up a lot of closet space.
#4. Rifles function normally every day of the month.
#3. A Rifle doesn't ask, "Do these new grips make me look fat?"
#2. A Rifle doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it.
And the number one reason a Rifle is favored over a woman:
# 1. YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A RIFLE

10. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.
9. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job o......f spending the money I earn than I would.
8. I voted Democrat because Freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
7. I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.
6. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.
5. I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies through abortion so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
4. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits.
3. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the democrats see fit.
2. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.
1. I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my azz that it is unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.
I'll keep my freedom, guns and GOD, you keep the change...

#6 except that very few of the "climate change" folks are meteorologists. Most of them have no education or fundamental knowledge of weather patterns and a grounding in geological history to temper their hypotheses.
No, most of them are like Al Gore - a whole lot of hot air and hypocrisy.

I think you may be on to something... Maybe that's what's causing stuff to supposedly melt.

I get so sick of the Prius people. They cost too damned much, and I see nothing but landfills full of batteries years from now (also wonder what the enviromental impact is to produce all of those batteries). I'm not convinced they're really as green as people like to think. Oh, and they still use gasoline, though if they could run on smugness alone...
Biodiesel FTW. Too bad VW seems to be the only company making an affordable diesel these days for sale in the US.
Please pardon the threadjack.

Both lists get a big
I needed a good

today.
But you might want to change the Prius to a Chevy Volt, since that's the new Government Motors dream car.

I thought that was the Camaro SS?

Want. Do not want another 5 years of car payments, though.

The Volvo/Mercedes crowd has been touting biodiesel for years.
I'll give it to VW for the tDI engines like in the Golf. That's diesel tech there.

Virtually every manufacturer who sells cars in Europe touts them over there. Even American manufacturers like Ford sell them in Europe. The only manufacturers who don't seem to be the Japanese (who have virtually nothing invested in any diesel tech).
