Great post Garrett. Much I'd like to say about this. Maybe later. I get on my soap box so much that I sometimes think it might cave in from use.

I work near some folks engaged in employing biometrics across DOD. I was reading an article about a city in Mexico where they are deploying iris scanners every where which will be monitored by the local police. My comments led into the discussion of how good this would be and how we have to give up rights in the name of security...the discussion ended with me literally calling several people morons and twits...even after they acknowledged I was correct...

Biometrics is one of those things that just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. There are so many issues with them it isn't funny.

That was a great video thanks for posting it.

This video is why we all need to be good stewards of the 2A and work to educate those who are uneducated not just through shooting skills but also in the history and background behind the 2A.

Until a couple of years ago, I was one of those undereducated folks. That's often the state of affairs in California, sadly. And as for biometrics, that's just scary.

This is a great video, and unlike the current NRA leadership, Mr. Heston clearly got it. Would that there were more like him in positions of leadership.

Indeed, but most of the time I use that phrase is when I walk into a staff meeting...
