Moving to Fredricksburg in 3 weeks...

Hey everyone. Moving to Fredricksburg from Jersey in 3 weeks. Daughter's stationed at Quantico so im being put on grandson duty ...lol. Need to know where the ranges are and the Harley dealers or any motorcycle performance shops.

Welcome to Fredericksburg.

The only range "in town" is the Fredericksburg Rod and Gun Club. It is a private club and a little too expensive for me. There is a Isaak Walton League, The Range, Clark Brothers and a few others that aren't too far away.

The closest Harley dealers are Waugh and Richmond Harley but there are a few custom bike shops in town. There is also an old school independant Harley shop downtown if your not into the whole custom scene. Let me know when you get to town and I can give you directions to some of these places.

Welcome to VGOF and Fredericksburg, biker!

I am a member of the Northern Virginia Gun Club, which is about 15 miles east of Fredericksburg on Route 218. It's an outdoor range with Skeet/Trap on the upper range and Pistol/Rifle (25/50/100/200 yards) on the lower range.

Sorry - I'm not much into Harleys, so I can't help there.

Other than Fred. Rod/Reel, there is a small indoor pistol range up Rt1.

There is also Clark Brothers up Rt17, but that is a ways and you have to shoot their ammo. Also, there is range82 out by CB/Warrenton. There is CF Phelps range which is free, but that has limited hours/open season. Lastly, there is the Quantico Shoot Club. Only The Range and Rod/Reel are close. Everything else requires a little drive.

The Harley dealer in Orange is great. Check them out. I bought my BMW cycle from the Fredericksburg dealer. They are great, but if you ride a Harley that probably isn't your thing.
