The seminar is presented in accordance with guidelines contained in the N.R.A. personal protection training manuals and in accordance with Virginia Department of Criminal Justice guidelines.
Topics covered include:
• General rights and restrictions under Virginia law permitting the carrying of concealed handguns for self defense, including where you may and may not carry.
• Virginia key legal provisions and restrictions pertaining to the use of deadly force in self defense.
• Potential criminal and civil actions that may be taken subsequent to a defensive encounter.
The seminar, which is approximately 3 hours in length, consists of a lecture portion followed by a Question and Answer session with the guest speaker.
Virginia Pistol will also:

The seminar is being held on Saturday April 11, 2009 at the Apple House Restaurant Banquet Room located on John Marshall Highway (Rt55) Linden, VA. Doors will open at 4:30 PM to sign in, and allow you time to Join or Renew your NRA Membership, receive information on training courses from Virginia Pistol, and visit available vendors. Dinner will be available at 5:30 and the seminar will begin at 6:00PM. Virginia Pistol representatives, NRA Recruiters and Vendors will also be available after the seminar.
