well i didnt get that AK i wanted today (wait a few weeks), but i did get me a new rifle. its a GSG 22LV HV. this is the PK version. i think this will be cool to shoot, plus ammo is super cheap. i do have 1 question though. what is the rule for a short barrel/folding stock on a rifle?

You can not put a stock on that without registering it as a NFA item. Folding or not.

I'm a little lost here? Does it have a stock now and you want to give it a folding one or is it a pistol?

if it resembles this when your done then you need to file your paperwork. it would then be an SBR

It has a barrel length of less than 16" and doesn't have a stock...it is a pistol.

If you put a stock on it it must be registered as an NFA item.

Here is some good reading that everyone should at least be familiar with if you're into modifications of your weapons.
