Picked up another AR last week. Found great deal on a Tactical Machining carbine. I wanted one primarily for 2-gun matches, and this fit the bill just right.
Here's my first outing with it. My 16yr old son and I went to Clarke Bros sat to run some rounds down range. The bench we got onto was a little crappy, and they only rest was their carpet covered wood blocks. Next time, I'm gonna find a sled and try to get it zeroed in better. I have a Vortex Sparc 2x red dot coming this week, should be able to co-witness the sights, cant wait to put that puppy on.
My target.
My son's target.

I've been playing with a couple of optics on this AR, and I think I found what I've been looking for, a Leupold 1.5x4 AR series. This scope is awesome! I ordered a one piece mount from RRA, and it appears to be very stable.
Granted this is only 25 yrds, but with these old eyes, I think it's pretty good. This target is 16 rounds of PMC 55gr, all but one are in the same hole. I set this up like this for 2 gun matches indoors. Dont really need to reach out and touch something at those matches.

Very sweet. I got a new AR for the 2-gun matches too. Guess I'm just keepin' up with the Jones.
Though I want to keep mine iron sites.

Nice stick. How's the scope working for you? I have a 1-4x from Millet that works well for 3-Gun. It's a true 1x, so the paralax isn't there for close range work. At some point, when I build a dedicated 3-Gun rifle, it will go on there.
