Here is the response from the letter to Mark Warner concerning the nomination of Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. Apparently and not surprisingly Mr Warner is not worried about our rights.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for contacting me regarding the nomination of Elena Kagan to serve on the United States Supreme Court.
On May 10, 2010, President Obama nominated Elena Kagan, who currently serves as Solicitor General of the United States, to fill the U.S. Supreme Court seat being vacated by Justice John Paul Stevens. I believe the President has made a solid choice in nominating Ms. Kagan for the Supreme Court. I first met her when she served as the Dean of Harvard Law School. She is very highly regarded across the ideological spectrum for her impressive background in government service and her strong academic and legal credentials.
Elena Kagan's nomination was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee where a hearing was held the week of June 28-July 1. The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on the nomination on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. I am not a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. However, should the Committee favorably report the nomination, I look forward to being a part of the deliberation in the full Senate as we exercise our responsibility to provide advice and consent to the President.
Again, thank you for contacting me. Please be assured that I value the thoughts that you have shared with me on this nomination. As we move forward in the 111th Congress, please continue to be in touch with your opinions and concerns.
Sincerely,
MARK R. WARNER
United States Senator

this what I got from his letter,
Send me your thoughts so I can ignore them as my mind was made up and your opinion does not matter.
What a waste of space and Tax dollers he is.

That letter looks terribly familiar. I think they mixed up yours with someone else's...or...maybe they got confused and sent the same one to everybody...I'm certain they will soon realize the mistake and get it corrected pronto.

Really ticks me off how he is so obvious while trying to sound neutral... His mind was made up the day Obama said her name... May as well have put his vote in the box that day. He's a waste of space and good oxygen on the planet,

This looks identical to the letter I got from him. Same thing when it comes to anything else about which I've ever written him.
I knew when I sent my letter that he'd already decided. Remember, he's looking ahead for a possible Presidential run. To do that, you've got to be a Party loyalist. It's all about personal power.
I don't know who I'll be voting to sit in that seat come 2014, but I know it will not be he. As a liberal, I just can't do it.

He's got his BS letter anytime someone who is not a member of his party sends him their opinons.
A complete waste of oxygen in action.

I received "spam" from him about this Wall Street bill, so I sent the following reply:
Please remove me from any correspondence that you may send out. I have several times contacted your office and I have yet to agree with any response received from your office. I will just as soon wait until you are voted out of office and hopefully someone who listens to the constituents instead of their party will be reading my future emails.
Regards,

Somehow his support ofa bill written Barney Fwank and Chris Dudd does not give me a case of warm fuzzies.. Shows the logic of the currnet administration to allow the two jackasses that caused the financial crisis be allowed to write the new laws to screw it allup gain even worse than before,. For ol Numnts Warner to support that doesn't surprise me.. His letters should read.
Dear (insert name)
THank you contacting me reagardng (whatever). Please feel free to have delusions that I give one iota of what you think.. I have Obamas hand up my butt and have no independent thought whatsoever. It's not allowed if you are a Democrat, Please know that irregardless of your position on this or any other subject that I don't care and will vote as I see fit..Sincerely Screw You. Senator Mark Warner Warner

Thanks for your input. Now get back to work because we just voted to give all of the money you would have made to those folks who aren't working and haven't done any work in the last two years. Remember: Obama in '12!
