I (like many others here) know what it takes to achieve those medals first hand and you have every right to be proud. I shot 188 of 190 on my rifle quals with a helluva hangover, but it think it slowed me down and made me concentrate on every movement. (because every one of them hurt)

Thanks all. I am very proud of him as he is 100% self taught with some help from his USMC buddies (all I did was buy him the tools).
Then, just when we thought his week could not get better - he scored 30 minutes fight time in a helo with a trainer. He was able to do the entire flight plan; take off, flight, hover & land.

One part of me hopes he gets the chance to use them and the other doesnt. If he does may he return safely home.
