I went by the Walmart in Stunton and found 7 boxes 100rnds WWB 45ACP bought 5 boxes.

They had 9 boxes 100rnd WWB 9mm left you have to ask them cuz they are hidden under the counter. John is the guy I delt with and he said in the future don't go by the shelves ask at the counter to check under the register.

Just thought you would like to know.

Maybe I can find who's got the ammo in the South Central part of the state. I'll be headed out to South Boston and Martinsville in the morning. I hear they got all the good stuff out there  :notworthy:

Maybe we could put together a group buy if you or someone else is successful at finding a place that has ammo in stock. What are folks interested in? 9mm? .45ACP? .223? .38SPL?

For a group buy, we would have to act quickly!

I know the Walmart in Fairlakes had oodles of 9mm - got a new shipment in today, I think. I think it was Blazer Brass? I know it was a black box.

You should be the Business Man and go buy up all the ammo, then resell it at the next Gun Show. :)

If I find anything in my travels this week, I'll post it here. As a retailer, how much ammo can you pre-order?. I see lots of other online retailers that are taking pre-orders for ammo, which is running about 60 - 90 days out. Keep in mind, I'm asking this as someone who has no idea how this sort of thing works

I'm not doing any preorders - I only sell what I have in stock at any given time. I hate to take a backorder of any kind, tell someone that it will be 90 days, then 6 months later, I have to tell them that it may be another 90 days because we haven't received our shipment from the manufacturer yet.

I went to one of the stores here in Virginia Beach,, Not a round to be seen,, The guy there was getting his order sheet together for the warehouse and every handgun round he entered the warehouse came back NONE Available,,, <He told me that he recently had 5 cases of ammo and as he was stocking the cabinet a guy came in and bought all 5,,, FOR 700$ ,,Now that was a lucky SOB!!!!!! Makes me think of the mark ups some places have is outragous,,But its a supply and demand situation so thats how it goes

Since your'e headed towards martinsville, stop in Danville. There is a small gunshop called Raymonds. I hear he stays pretty well stocked on ammo. Last time I was in the South Boston wal mart they were lacking in the ammo dept. Or if you wat to take a ride take RT360 out of South Boston towards Richmond to Keysville. There is two gunshops in this small town. Stewarts Hunting and Fishing had a few boxes each of the popular handgun ammo and Bob Moates has a store right next door to them. Bob has a larger supply but he is 'very proud' of what he sells. I priced a box of Remington .223 55 grain PSP there and they were 27.95 . I walked next door and got them for 16.99.
