Looking for 1911 smith in the area
Anyone know/recommend a good gunsmith for 1911s in the area? The trigger on my Springer Loaded has a roughness in it that needs to be worked out.

I know an excellent one, but at this point I think he is only doing work for friends (he's good, we send enough work his way). I'll ask him what work he is taking though. Probably will take a few days to get a reply. He is around the Lake Anna area (NW side). Before I ask, is that a problem to drive down there?gregj wrote:Anyone know/recommend a good gunsmith for 1911s in the area? If he doesnt mind me dropping it off with the boat and family in tow. We go boating on the lake fairly often, allow me to kill two birds at the same time, so to speak. Thanks

They just finished working on three of my guns.
Very happy with their work.
