Virginia Beach July 4th Fireworks

Post by allingeneral »

I'm bringing my family and our boat to Va Beach for 4th of July weekend. Anyone know of a good hotel in the area that has dockage available near Rudy Inlet? If I have to, I'll get a hotel reservation on the beach and just launch the boat near the Aquarium on General Booth Blvd.

Also, I'm trying to determine if there are any laws or ordinances regarding the use of boats near Va Beach and the Boardwalk area - distance regulations, etc. Anyone know of anything like this?

Fireworks displays are launched from a barge off 20th Street, giving you a great view from anywhere along the boardwalk.

Fireworks are on July 4 at 9:30 pm

The locals are probably the worst to ask about hotels since we don't use them, but here's a look at what's close to the marina.

I can only imagine what the full in-season prices will look like

The Sandcastle is a good one. We stay in that one every time we go. I think it's on 6th st. We'll be there the 5th, 6th and 7th. With you being there does that mean I won't have to go out on a head boat to fish ?

The weather looks to be very nice for the weekend. We finally got out of the 95+ degree days. :surfing: :shipwrecked:

Yep yep...should be a great weekend.

Unfortunately, I think we've decided to stay a little closer to home on the water for the weekend.
