SEATTLE (AP) -- Police said a man accidentally shot himself in the testicles at a Lynnwood department store. Police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said the man was carrying his handgun in his waistband and it accidentally went off about noon Sunday.

She said he was wounded in the testicles and also in his leg and foot. No one else was hurt.

The man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but there was no immediate word on his condition.

Was his name Plaxico Burress?

I keep telling my husband that Darwin awards don't require death, just inability to reproduce. This probably qualifies, right?

It might be better if Darwin awards would *force* people to not be able to reproduce. We could use the Darwin as a mechanism to help clean up the gene pool. I have a few awards that I would like to hand out.

Taking that thought a couple of steps further...

We should make a law that restricts some people from reproducing. Conviction for a violent felony - not only do you lose your rights to vote, own (or touch) a gun, etc - you also lose your right to reproduce!

Maybe we should also add a "Stupid" law. This guy would be convicted of being Stupid. Take away his right to reproduce!

Yeah, a "Stupid" law written and passed by the poster children of stupid. I hope I live long enough to see that one

Ahhh...the "Slippery Slope of Stupidity"

I have owned and carried a lot of guns over the last few decades, but have never had one that fires by itself, and then, into my own testicles.....but , thats just me.... (maybe I shop in the wrong gun stores)

You need more bling on your guns. Gold plating makes all the difference in self-determined firing. Gangster sights help with MOT (minute of testicle).

It kind of sounds like the main dingleing didnt want to hang out with two nuts any longer..

A new twist on "natural selection". I like it. If we can't eliminate stupid people, at least thay are keeping themselves from reproduction.
