It looks like it will be warmer than I'd hoped for, but not too bad overall. Just as long as the beverages are cold.
And don't forget the rain fly for your tent.

The rain should be gone by saturday. It's just a slight chance of a typical afternoon thunder boomer. But it is supposed to be rather warm.

I would not swim in the lake. One it has hydrilla 2 it is not very deep as it was a corn field at one time and converted to a lake 3 it has held some VERY LARGE snapping turtlu's and last but not least some Copper Heads from time to time. Fish in it sure but not swim.

The old folks at home say a snapping turtle will only let go when it hears thunder.....so, looks like if anyone does get bit they have a pretty good chance of getting loose by the afternoon we have a thunderstorm.

Hmmmm - Gianormous Snappin Turtlus and Copper Headed Rattler Moccasins... I may have to re- evaluate what kind of ammo to bring...
No doubt ticks and chiggers and all other types of unenumerated pestilences... I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Hot and humid should make for some cool vapor trails from Gunderwood's big .50 thunderstick. Also if there is a thunderstorm we might be less likely to start a fire with all the lead and tannerite that is rumored to be flying. Man I can't wait until this weekend. Bill I really appreciate your generosity and kindness in throwing this party. It should really be a great time. Thanks a lot from me and the boy.

The blast, dust or whatever you want to call it from tannerite will put out a fire, so says the people who make it. I only have four jugs left and mixing two together is a blast, pun intended. I hope I can get someone to shoot it so for once I can set back and enjoy the noise. If anyone has a thermocell I would highly recomend bringing it. The skeeters are the same size as F-16's.
