Years ago I picked up a parts kit for this Isralie HB FAL.
I Got a DSA reciever when DSA was running a special sale to the guys who post on the FAL site .
I had to do lots of hand fitting to get the barrel timed right and I had to hand fit the locking sholder to get the head space right on.
I took it to the range and it shoots great for a rifle with a coke can size front site [seriously the sight is bigger than the bullseye at 100yds] and a big lump of metal bipod hanging off the very front of the barrel - last 5 rounds went into a 4 sq. in block at 100yds Im happy!

Israeli Yes--But a Belgian design - In fact this one has a Belgian barrel And I'm told it dates about 58 and was one of the first ones that were made for the Israelis before they produced their own.

When I get My butt moved to Va Ill bring it to a shoot and meet --you guys can try it out!

Nice weapon, you should be able get to a shoot and meet at my place over the next few year's as I don't see any problem with doing more at my place if the people on the forum want to.
