6" G20 Problem

I received a Lone Wolf 6" slide for my G20 as a birthday present. Which means I (had to)

buy a 6" 10mm barrel to go with it. I went with KKM because I had already bought a 4.6" .40 conversion barrel from them and was very happy with it. I also like to use a #22 spring with my full power 10mm loads. So here is the problem. With the new slide, and new barrel, my #22 spring scrapes heavily against the underside of the barrel preventing the slide from cycling. The stock #17 spring gives me no problem. Any ideas

other than just using the #17 spring?

I don't believe you could clearance for the #22 spring without compromising the integrity of the weapon. it could be that the 10mm barrel won't work in that configuration.
An experienced Glock armorer would have to make that call.

Thanks OakRindgeStars I was pondering the idea of removing barrel material but I didn't. I think i might have found the solution in a wolff #22 spring. The ISMI spring I have is flat wound and the wolff is round. It seems people have been having the same problem with these 6" conversions and not making the correct diagnosis, assuming tight tolerances and lube problems. Wonder what the huge gouge marks in the bottom of the barrel are? But magically the ones with wolff springs work fine.

Got my wolff spring in the mail today and it solved the problem. An odd thing is the wolf #22 spring when compared to the ISMI #22 spring is much stronger but is consistant throughout its travel. Cant even rack the slide with a thumb and finger grip. Have to overhand it.
