Change to Utah Concealed Firearm Permit applications

A note to our students applying for a Utah concealed firearm permit -

Utah BCI has removed the requirement to have your application notarized. This apparently has been done in an effort to streamline the process for students. Obtaining notarization on your Utah CFP application is no longer necessary. Instead, the student must simply acknowledge by their signature that all of the information contained on the application is true and accurate.

I didn't realize that was a big stumbling block for most people. Most banks will do it for free if you an account with them.

But then, I'm not sure why the application had to be notarized anyway. This is good though.

It was a bit of trouble for some folks - now its gone. :)
