Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Hi All,

I finally made the move to VA and now live in Richmond. I am in the process of getting a CHP in Richmond and would welcome any advice or comments. Specifically, are the any city ordinances in Richmond that I should be concerned with?

P.S. Coming from an "anti" state, I am still getting over not having to have a permit to own!!!

The only ordinances that you will have to worry about on a local level involve the actual discharge of a handgun.

Yup, something I've considered here in NOVA...so, I can carry concealed and keep loaded weapons in my home but legally I can't discharge them...what a dilemma...
