Ok, so I decided to get a small cc handgun. I make my trip down to my local gun shop and shop  I guessed I'd get a LCP or see what they had. Well I went from a LCP, LCR, Bersa, Taurus, then a M&P. Now I've gone from a 380 to a 45 now. They are all nice but....
Then he pulls out this Kimber Ultra Carry in 45ACP (pretty) I put it in my hand and then birds sang and flowers came up! OK no flowers or birds alright BUT I did get a get warm fuzzy feeling about this gun. Then sticker shock hits me like a Mack truck. Whats this thing made of GOLD? Well I did a lot of researching and I was going to buy the M&P45. Started email this guy on VGTrader anout his M&P (79fender I think, I'm plugging him for a reason) After several emails he told me if I had the money buy the Kimber because he had one and wished he still had it, best he ever had. At that point I decided to bite the bullett and the next morning I brought her home. My new carry gun   Oh did I say it had crimsion trace on it
To the range I go!!!!!!!!!
This is her next to my Springfield 1911A1

Those pocket/mini .45s are WORTHLESS!!!! You're more likely to die from the recoil than your attacker from the bullet!

On second thought, let's not start that thread again... :hysterical:

All joking aside, that is a nice gun. I did learn something from that thread though. Corbon actually makes 3" barrel .45 ammo. http://www.dakotaammo.net/Self-Defense- ... 00/Product

The 185gr are 5" though. These are lighter because they are all copper vice lead/copper jacket. Be sure to post a range report.

Congrats!!!! I have a Tactical Ultra II, and love it. I also have a Custom Classic Target, and they are both dead on accurate and reliable. You should love yours. I would be interested in knowing what holster you wind up with for it. I'm still playing with various holsters for mine.
