Greetings all. My name is Ben, and I'm 30. I've always been interested in firearms, but have never owned one. A friend mentioned this site to gather information in preparation of me getting my first, as I'm new to most firearms in general. I've been hunting several times, but it was several years ago, and have been wanting to pick it back up for a long while.
This is a nice site, looks like there is a big collection of information here.

Yes, there's a lot of excellent information here covering a wide variety of gun-related and other subjects. Are you considering a firearm purchase? If so, there are a few for sale on this site and I have a couple I might like to sell as well. Since you say you are new person to firearms, you might want to consider starting out with a well-made, inexpensive weapon with inexpensive ammo. I suggest a good .22 pistol. Let me know what you think. If you feel more confident, perhaps a nice 9mm is a good place to begin?
