Posted a couple before I saw the new guy thingy. I'm Doug Williams USAF Veteran (Missile Maintenance 31651L) I target shoot about once a week at a family farm and reload all I shoot except rimfire. I shoot a lot of 38 Special, 357 Magnum, 45 ACP and 44 Magnum and reload them all mostly with lead I cast myself. I have owned a Dillon 450 and currently have a Dillon 550 and two 650's and a Lyman single stage. A reloader for about 27 years it's about 50/50 that I reload to shoot or shoot to reload. I hope to be a valuable contributor to the forum. After pulling the Dillon handle for a couple of decades I came up with this:
Right now I'm trying out some Buck Beaver Casting Flux I just got from an ebay sale. So far it seems pretty amazing. Little or no smoke and the dross nearly climbs out of a full pot by itself. More later.
