Brian from VaGunTrader.com will have a table at this show and has offered to let people buy/sell/trade personal firearms from his table. Just bring what you have and hang out with Brian for a little while and see who comes by to make a deal.

Here's the email that I received from Brian a few moments ago:

If you have something gun related that you want to sell bring it and have a seat at the table and try to sell or trade it. Read more here --> http://vaguntrader.com/view_topic.php?i ... orum_id=28
I hope to be able to spend a little time there as well - probably sometime Saturday. Stop by and say "Hi!"

How was this show? I was at the Dale City show today, and it was pretty quiet...

It was pretty dead while I was there Sunday afternoon. I hear there were a lot of people there Saturday but not much buying going on. Dealers were pretty depressed.

I understand some New Yorkers were run out on Saturday for trying to set people up for selling them handguns.

I was there Saturday and right as we were walking in the doors, they were announcing something to the effect of: "There are three people from New York walking around in here trying to perform a straw purchase. DO NOT sell to them" etc... After the announcement was over, a lot of people in the place started clapping. Well - my youngest son (5) thought that they were clapping because VGOF came walking in the door. I thought that was really funny and cute lol

I found the table that VaGunTrader (Brian) paid for. He had some business cards printed up with the VaGunTrader logo on one side and the VGOF logo on the other and was passing them out to anyone who would take them. It was very nice of him to offer that up to me, and I appreciate it. I gave him a few bucks for his trouble, hung out for a couple of minutes, then went on browsing. Thanks Brian!

I saw Leyla Myers and Chris Richardson from the 2A March. The show promoters stuck them way back in the very back left corner of the joint. I'm not sure how much traffic they got. The State March is today at the Belltower in Richmond. Show up if you can!

I talked to a few other folks and shook some hands. It was a good time. I didn't see a Winchester Model 62 like I want though.

Good for those who caught on to bloomberg the twit's scheme. I would have set them up and ensured a felony arrest for all three...

Where is the BATFE when you need them? Just more BATFE SOP, put people away for technicalities and ignore the real criminals.

Oh yeh! I heard all that clapping but couldn't hear the announcer and what she was saying beforehand. As I stated in another thread, I had gone home and come back because a vendor had erroneously not given me back my credit card, and they left it at the desk. When I approached the desk, some guy and a woman were back there, and he was reading the straw purchase law to her, word for word. I couldn't get their attention so I finally said "scuse me". They were pretty focused!

Glad they stopped the dudes.

There was another point where there was a lot of clapping. One of the vendors was walking around with his stun gun demonstrating it. You could hear it no matter where you were. The cops finally came around and told him to stop. The lady then told all vendors selling them to cut it out. I guess there's a law against test firing them in a place like that.

Doubtful. Probably it was a case of enough people complaining about his annoying behavior that the promoter had to act.

I haven't been to a gun show anywhere in the last ten years that there hasn't been some jackass zapping his stun gun every few minutes. It's like they teach it in "stun gun sales school" or something.
