Yes and I'm sure the liberals and socialists will step forward and say its our patriotic duty to pay $7 or even $10 for gas along with a 75% increase in taxes and energy costs that will result from cap and tax...anything to save the planet of course...

Silly liberals...only God can save the planet...

7 dollar a gallon gas would force many people to "stay home" as you put, also they would be forced to survive on government welfare payments. yay! more dependants, I mean democrats...

I live about 2 miles from the back gate of Langley AFB where I work. If gas gets that high I might just consider riding a bike back and forth to work...... but without the saddlebags and Spandex Britches..... you DO NOT wanna see me in spandex.... :hysterical:

Of course in my old curmudgeonly way, I can wheeze myself up out of the desk chair and drag my old decrepit carcass outside and pedal, walk and drag my kids bike to the grocery store for whatever essentials I can still afford. Spandex? I don't think so, would hurt my arthritic hips too bad, not to mention just look bad, gotta think of what's left of my dignity(?) Not to mention the print of my IWB holster with the Colt Police Positive Special. Ouch.
Just amazes me what the admin is going to try to cram into the 33 months they have left until the next election. That's ambition!

Well, I like to ride and spandex is the only way to go if you're gonna do a 3 or 4 hour ride. I will tell you that it does look quite silly wearing a gun...especially if you're wearing bright colored ones...people do look...

Last summer Young and I stopped at a hole in the wall for chicken during a ride. They served alcohol so...the looks I got were priceless...

I always thought trees and other plants took care of that nasty old carbon monoxide,,HHMMMM leave it to a Harvard research group to tell us different. Yaknow for a school with so much positive publicity and scholarly attendance they sure can come up with some of the most serious BS I have ever heard..Strikes me more as a breeding ground for idiots that can't get a real job so the government supports them to do stupid studies on crap no one else cares about...

My professors taught me that all plants breathe in CO2 and exhale oxygen. If we get rid of all the CO2 then what will they breathe. More importantly what will we breathe...

Well if algore was really buying and planting trees with the hundreds of millions of dollars he has scammed out of people for "credits" instead of buying a new gulfstream 5 for tipper and himself, then we would be complaining about to much oxygen....
