Hampton Gun Shops Reviews

Bear with me as I write these, as I just decided to write these up and will be doing it from memory. I forgot about this section of the boards or I would have taken better mental notes when dealing with the 2 stores I usually go too.

Ok, I consider this more of a Gun store, because they have one small glass counter on the right side of the store with jewelry in it, this being the pawn shop part.
They have a pretty good selection of Handguns from:
Glock
S&W
Sprinfield
Sig
Taurus
Kimber
Bersa
Colt (I think I seen a couple)
Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head.
Then they have some shotguns, a couple of AK's, at least one Saiga I saw, some Ar's. Some othe long guns, but I didn't really look to see what they were.
They have some accesories behind the counter, but not many.
The 3 guys that are usually running the counter area are always real friendly and ask if you need help when you first walk up. I have asked questions and they were very thorough with their answers going into more detail than I had expected.
They have a 3 lane range inside. They have 2 RSO's that I know of. Most of the time I see the one older guy, a retired Sherriff. He is really nice, loves to talk. Every time I go into the store, I go up to the window to watch some of the shooters. He always strikes up a conversation and when I go to leave tells me I don't need to go, lol. I guess he gets lonely standing there watching everyone shoot. I have seen one other guy on duty before (once), but I never talked to him.

You have to be buzzed in, but never had to wait. Even if they are in the middle of helping a customer, they buzz you in as soon as you walk up to the door.
Right side of the store:
Long counter filled with accesories. Behind counter on the wall, very nice selection of handguns with your typical stuff:
Glock
Sig
S&W
Springfield
Kimber
Taurus
Bersa
They have a few long guns down below all the handguns on the wall, I remember seeing a couple of Mini-14's.
On the back wall:
It is covered with AR's mostly (a lot of them). There are a couple of AK's, Saiga's, and some other toys, but right now I can't really remember what.
Left side of the store:
All kinds of accesories. Mags, holsters, lights, laser, you name it, he might have it.
The personnel there are always real friendly and eager to help. Even if they are helping someone, they will at least ask what you need help with. I've only had to wait once, but that was because the 2 guys were already dealing with 2-3 customers a piece. They multi-task when it comes to customers, which it isn't bad.
I've read on other forums people giving A & P Arms a bad rep, complaining, etc. I know they had their problems in the news before, but I haven't had any problems with them. I would never hesitate to go there.
They don't have a range at this store, but if you buy a handgun from them, they give you a range card for 5 free trips to their Lynnhaven range, which is cool.
