Utah democrat , obama's latest purchase?

This is a rhetorical question;

Is this really how the United States government was meant to function? I don't remember this level of deception and outright disdain for the american voter in my lifetime. I know someone will point out something done by a Republican President along the way, but IF you do that please also point out what was the mood of the people against whatever issue you may cite. I really can't think of anything so unpopular with the american voter, since the end stages of the Vietnam war, yet this administration is not only thumbing their collectives noses at us, they are now flipping us their collective middle fingers as well. I get the feeling we are being pushed to the edge of the precipice and will very soon have to make a very difficult choice, I really don't believe they are concerned with any voter fallout, and that in itself is scary.

What makes it an even bigger insult is the way it is done and then the SOB's act as if they are innocent and we're too stupid to see what they;re doning.

That is indeed scary. I've said it before and will say it again. Two things come to mind here that I will repeat once again:

1 - this administration, especially obama, has been stacking dry wood all about the country and dousing it with gasoline. They are waiting for a spark to ignite it. So, you ask - why would they do this and intentionally incite Americans to the brink? The answer is simple: so they can step in, declare martial law and take over. If you dont believe that then fine, but consider this. Ever since before day 1 a government takeover through legislation has been this administrations goal. Why not have a backup plan to do it the more direct way...and if you dont believe that then take a look around the world. How many other times has this very same thing happened in other countries. Cant happen here you say. Yeah right, and neither can a whole lot of things that have already happened.

2 - this congress has shown us that since "we won" they are all powerful, know best, and will do whatever they please however they want to do it. Whats to stop them from saying one day "uh, we think it best for Americans that we stay in power indefinitely." Un-Constitutional you say. Sure it is, but they pass unconstitutional laws all the time. How many times do you wonder why they dont honor their oaths. Whats to stop them from dropping the big one?
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...
