That's crazy rolled up into a ball, wrapped in a cult blanket with the 1st amendment loosely taped on the outside.

Well, IMHO this is a case of pure deception being led by satan. They've got Biblical truths wrapped with lies and hate.
God will indeed judge each and everyone of us and I believe His outpouring of judgments has begun. But in addition to wrath He is also full of love and mercy and is urging the world to turn their faces from sin to Him.
These folks have taken God's word and built something twisted from it. They will be judged harshly for leading others astray.

That's exactly what they say about any religion, church, or sect, including Protestants who don't subscribe to their particular Calvinist interpretation of the inerrancy of the Bible.
Here's a quick quiz they've put together to see how "your church stack[s] up against the scriptures" and to determine if it's leading you straight to hell.
And they defend their position in excruciating detail with hundreds of specific Biblical citations that support their beliefs which you can read in their "Letter to the Earthdwellers".

And this is exactly where they take the truth and wrap it with lies and deception. God will indeed judge those who have immoral sexual practices but He wants Christians to preach about redemption and forgiveness. God himself will send those who turn away to hell. Our job is try to lead them in the right direction. You do that by showing them the love and forgiveness of God. And, I think we have to be careful not to get in the other side of the ditch that a loving God wont be sending anybody to hell. Thats another deception...

actually there is a bold faced, unbiblical totally false claim within the first sentence of this manifesto. Besides how can you take these morons seriously with a zipcode like that.

Ok, but you'll have to point it out because the manifesto posted above is all one run on sentence...
However, the point being is folks like this take Biblical truth to make it "palatable" and wrap it with enough lies to make it outright deception.

actually they dont make it "palatable" at all, in fact these types of fundementalists make any form of christianity seem disgusting and extreme to the unbeliever. These types of people are the kinds who think killing an abortion doctor is pleasing to their God, and perhaps phrasing it that way, it might be true, it might be "pleasing to their god", who is the god of this age.

These people did show up! I saw them Tuesday morning on my way home from work, it was about 730am and they were out in force right across the street from the Cemetary on Princess Anne Rd, right in front of the new Emergency Room.
They had all the signs out saying God loves dead soliders, among others. It was very hard not to swing into the local grocery store for some eggs and let loose with them. Of course like mentioned earlier in the thread they are probably just waiting for someone to assault them in some way so they can get more press.
Don't they realize it's the men and women who have fought and died for this country that have allowed them the ability to have their protests? You think the Taliban would be open to a critique of the way they run things? How about telling some officals in Iran or Korea that you don't like the way things are, see how long you keep all your cool signs.
As much as it pains me to say this the best course of action is to probably ignore them. If they can't get anyone to notice them they might just fade away, but I doubt we're that lucky.

I support free speech too in almost any form but these people are downright dangerous. Yet, if their speech is limited then mine as a Christian will be too since the MSM tends to link us all together.
I think the snake handlin churches are a little farther west as in WV...
