Sorry for being off-line so long!

We made it here to Louisiana and are getting all out paperwork done to be legal and to try to get some... ANY assistance and so far we have nothing but my $123/month V.A. Disability check as income. Our Internet access is restricted to dial-up or High Speed at the coffee Shop 5 miles away. We can't get cell calls in our "house" as it is an unheated or cooled metal building. We also share a single toilet with the 2 owners and whoever they have over at the time. We have no sinks at all and only a shower. We have our refrigerator but no stove/oven. We use an electric skillet, a hot plate, toaster oven and a microwave to cook with not counting the barbecue pit and crawfish/shrimp boiling/frying rig and our smoker. We do have plenty of room and small electric space heaters in the bedroom to keep it livable for now.

I know all that sounds bad but we are REAL glad to be HOME and back with Friends and Family who are not letting us starve or go without the necessities of life until we get on our feet. The Long Term Disability from my work was denied and we are appealing that. We are also filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and have let the Escape and the House go back to the bank(s).
