Survivalists everywhere will be thrilled to hear that the future of tires is full of holes…in a good way. The new Honeycomb tire design, originally created at the University of Wisconsin for the U.S. Army, can survive explosions, gunfire, extreme terrain and even handles every day driving.

How would it handle though? There's always a "sales" bias to some articles, but until I find out how it deals with "J" turns, and "pit manuevers", I'll save my pennies.
