I wonder exactly who she's talking about here? The groups she named in the DHS report last year...that would be -- you guessed it -- people like me, you, veterans, Christians, anti-abortionists, those against obama's policies, those worried about government spending, etc, etc, etc...

This is our government folks. More worried about we the people than real terrorists. Note she says "just as big a concern as terrorists..."

I wont be laughing anymore when someone laughs when things like martial law, gun confiscation, concentration camps are mentioned...

Domestic Extremism is Top Concern, Napolitano Says

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says in the past year, more of the violent extremism that has been seen overseas is showing up in the U.S.

WASHINGTON -- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says terrorists who are U.S. citizens or live in the country legally and plot against the U.S. are just as big of a concern as international terrorists.

She says that when she started as secretary a year ago, the focus was largely on international terrorists who want to harm U.S. interests. But in the past year, more of the violent extremism that has been seen overseas is showing up in the U.S.

She says officials need to drill down and analyze the factors that make a young person, raised in the U.S., migrate to extremist beliefs and actions.

Napolitano was speaking to governors who are in Washington for their annual conference.

DHS and it's policys sound alot like the policys of Pre WW2 Germany. Is it now time for all law bidding americans to live in fear of our government?

Based on that article our government fears we the people to some degree. Thats supposed to be a good thing but in this case I'm not so sure. Its detracting needed attention elsewhere. Of course its a red herring meant to focus attention from issues all Americans should be hopping mad about....

Actually she is making a good case against her own boss...........

This isn't the government fearing the people, this is them setting the stage so they can say I told you so when they start raiding "militias" again.

The defendant here has a skeet shotgun, a hacksaw, and we believe the intent to evade tax regulations by sawing the barrel down at some point in the future and not paying for the tax stamp. We would like to seek the death penalty, your honor...

Personally I think she is trying to stir up something to detract from her otherwise incompetence performance in the job she has been apponted to. I have yet to hear anything come out of her mouth that was even faintly worth listening to. She's another fine example of the curent administrations poor choices for positons based on PC or some sort of twisted ideology. After the Christmas Day skivvy incident ,she should have been removed from the job and sent back to AZ.

They all should be removed.

Must be more domestic extremists crashing the gate in Arizona and trying to run down a guard at Luke Airforce Base in Arizona this morning..........."we don't believe this incident has anything to do with Terroism"......maybe not, but I bet the guy who did the shooting was a little terrified........
