We all know that there's more gun violence in cities and they tend to vote liberal. I'm wondering if the trend holds in other liberal voting areas outside of cities.

Does anyone know of any studies where they break down gun violence by political affiliation?

Funny you ask that. If you study electoral maps of past presidential elections you'll find that cities almost always vote blue and suburban/especially rural almost always red. Cities are normally where recipients of social giveaways congregate so they can be close to the government office in charge of the handouts. Conservatives dont do that so you'll find them farther away from the built up areas.

Well looky there.....Places that vote Liberal seem to tend to have high gun rates and more restrictive gun laws...Illinois and California We're looking at you. Also you could include New York and Southern Florida in in that I suppose.
