Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Hello to all, I recently dropped by the Sharpshooters Meet & Greet this week and met some of you. I was very impressed with the group members that I had the opportunity to meet. I wanted to take a couple minutes and introduce myself to you a little bit more.

I recently moved back to the great state of VA. I am former Law Enforcement, and now work as a government contractor in Washington DC, but reside in Woodbridge. I have a small gun collection, but it seems to grow a little bit each month. Shooting firearms, and attending gun shows has been a great way for my son (Toby) and I to participate in a shared recreation together. So far we both enjoy it a great deal. Recently my girlfriend "Casey" has taken an interest in firearms and has acquired a pretty impressive small collection of guns herself. We all attended the Meet & Greet recently and hope to attend more functions in the near future.

Welcome to the forum, sorry I couldn't make it to the M&G to meet you and your son. My son and I shoot and collect together also. Anything I can do to keep him away from the video games that trap so many of his friends indoors is great.
