Yeah, I saw that GM post. Was hoping for someone that ran their own shop or something. I don't have any work that needs to be done right now, but it would be good to have someone in mind ahead of time.

Don Sheridan of Special Projects Unlimited. He does manily rifle work and he has done several things for me. he is off 17 behind the CVS in that industrial park. Google him.

Mike Richards is also listed in the FFL Transfer Agents list in the left menu under "Resources".
One of these days, I might get that list added to a searchable database instead of the flat post that it's in now.

I have really good luck with rifle work done by Clark Brothers gunsmith. Prices are average but he has good attention to detail.

Did he move? I went by there recently and someone else (not gun related) had taken over his area.

Found out on Monday that Gander Mountain no longer offers gunsmithing when I stopped in to pick up a GunVault Micro for my truck and to research the time/money involved with upgrading the sight set on my Kimber. The gentleman who used to provide Gander's gunsmithing service gave me a name and number in the Fredericksburg area to check out - when I find the time to look him up I will let you all know how it turns out.

This is a waaayyyy old post, but if you want a good gunsmith, you'll have to drive a bit to TTI on Route 1 in Hanover.
